The Bellsonance Productions team is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our musicians at the prestigious Liederfest 2026 competition in Melbourne.

Liederfest is widely recognised as one of Australia’s most respected and demanding competitions dedicated to the art of German Lied and vocal chamber repertoire. Each year, it brings together some of the country’s finest emerging singers and collaborative pianists, creating an environment of exceptional artistic standard and musical excellence.

This year, several musicians connected with Bellsonance Productions were recognised among the finalists and award recipients, reflecting both their artistic dedication and the growing presence of young Queensland musicians on the national classical music scene.

We are especially proud to congratulate:

• Silas Gregory - Finalist and recipient of the Brian Hansford Award

• Dallas Tippett - Finalist and recipient of the Lynette Casey Brereton Award and Kaye Allen Memorial Award

• Artemii Safonov - recipient of the Margaret Schofield Award and Finalist Award for collaborative pianists

• Amalia Safonova - recipient of the Joan Arnold & Bettine McCaughan Memorial Award for a promising young singer

For Bellsonance Productions, these achievements represent more than competition success. They reflect the artistic growth of a new generation of musicians who are already contributing to Australia’s evolving classical music landscape through performance, collaboration, and creative exploration.

The atmosphere at this year’s Liederfest was deeply inspiring. Audiences and participants experienced performances of remarkable musical maturity, emotional depth, and artistic individuality. It was a celebration not only of vocal artistry, but of the collaborative spirit that lies at the heart of chamber music and song repertoire.

Bellsonance Productions remains committed to supporting young musicians by creating professional performance opportunities, fostering artistic partnerships, and building meaningful connections between performers and audiences.

We warmly congratulate all participants, finalists, teachers, accompanists, and organisers involved in this year’s festival. The level of artistry presented throughout the competition was truly exceptional and serves as a reminder of the vibrant future of classical music in Australia.

Performance videos and concert highlights from our musicians will be shared soon across our platforms. Stay connected with Bellsonance Productions for upcoming performances, artistic projects, and future collaborations.
